Types of Indian Visa
e-Tourist Visa (eTV)
The most common visa for tourists. Available for 30 days, 1 year or 5 years. Apply online at indianvisaonline.gov.in.
Regular Tourist Visa
Apply at Indian Embassy in your country. Takes 3-5 business days.
e-Visa Countries
India offers e-Visa to citizens of 169 countries including USA, UK, Australia, France, Germany, Japan and most other nations.
Documents Required
- Valid passport with 6 months validity
- Passport size photograph
- Return ticket
- Hotel booking proof
- Bank statement
- Travel itinerary
e-Visa Cost
- 30 day e-Visa: USD 25
- 1 year e-Visa: USD 40
- 5 year e-Visa: USD 80
Processing Time
e-Visa is usually processed within 72 hours. Apply at least 4 days before travel.

- Select e-Visa option
- Fill the online form
- Upload documents
- Pay fee online
- Receive visa via email
- Print and carry with passport
