Welcome to PlanMyOffbeat. By accessing our website, using our trip-planning tools, submitting a quote request, or participating as an operator, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Marketplace Coordinator Role & Services

PlanMyOffbeat is a travel discovery, planning, matching, and quote-comparison platform. We help travellers create a structured custom trip request and may match that request with approved, independent local tour operators (“Providers”).

  • No Tour Operation: PlanMyOffbeat is NOT a tour operator. We do not own, manage, or operate any vehicles, hotels, sightseeing programs, or guiding services. All travel packages and local arrangements are delivered solely by the matched Provider.
  • No Escrow / Direct Payments: For Version 1 (V1) of our marketplace, PlanMyOffbeat does NOT process traveller payments or hold funds in escrow. All booking payments, deposit advances, balances, and cancellations are handled directly between the Traveller and the Provider.

2. Estimates, Quotes, & Validity

  • Planner Estimates: Pricing estimates shown by the trip planner are planning guidance based on stored cost assumptions. They are not live availability, a booking offer, or a Provider quote. A Provider's submitted quote supersedes the estimate for that offer.
  • Quote Availability: Submitting a request does not guarantee that a Provider will match the route, respond within a particular time, or submit any minimum number of quotes. Coverage depends on destination, dates, capacity, and Provider participation.
  • Quote Validity: Unless a Provider states another validity period, a submitted custom quote is valid for 48 hours. Rates and availability may change with season, occupancy, transport, permits, and other stated conditions.

3. Mutual-Consent Contact Sharing

To protect user privacy and prevent unsolicited outreach, PlanMyOffbeat uses a Mutual-Consent Phone Reveal policy:

  • Phone numbers remain hidden in the system by default.
  • Both the traveller and the provider must explicitly click "Request Phone Number" to consent to contact-sharing. Once both parties have consented, the numbers are revealed.
  • Circumvention Rule: Users and operators must not write email addresses, phone numbers, website links, or external contact details directly in the in-app chat before mutual-consent is verified. Attempting to bypass the communication platform to avoid audits is a violation of these Terms.

4. Provider Obligations, SLA, & Pilot Pricing

Operators registered in our directory agree to the following terms:

  • KYC Verification: Providers must supply correct business verification documents (PAN, GST, business registration, tourism licensing, bank statements, and photo IDs). Providers must not upload Aadhaar cards. Accounts found with fraudulent KYC details will be immediately suspended.
  • Response Standard: Providers are expected to respond to matched traveller requests within 48 hours when practical. PlanMyOffbeat may use genuine response history in future matching or quality controls, but no automatic public ranking benefit is currently guaranteed.
  • Zero-Commission Validation Pilot: PlanMyOffbeat charges operators no commission during the initial validation period, targeted at approximately the first 100 successful bookings. Providers must still report booking outcomes so the service can measure successful matches. Any future fee requires a stated effective date, advance operator notice and acceptance, and updated terms; it will not switch on silently.

5. Chat Logging & Monitoring

To maintain marketplace safety, verify quote and booking milestones, measure successful matches, and resolve traveller complaints, PlanMyOffbeat administrators log and may inspect chat transcripts. Administrators reserve the right to flag or remove inappropriate messages, spam, or direct contact details sent in violation of Section 3.

6. Reviews & Rating Policy

Travellers may submit reviews and ratings for providers after booking completions. Reviews must represent genuine customer experiences. PlanMyOffbeat reserves the right to moderate, hide, or remove reviews that violate content guidelines, contain offensive text, or are suspected to be fraudulent or incentivized.

7. Dynamic Media Disclaimer

PlanMyOffbeat dynamically retrieves images and media from third-party public repositories (such as Wikimedia Commons, Flickr, and Openverse) matching place names. We do not host, control, or own these files. If you encounter any dynamic image that is copyright-infringing, inaccurate, or inappropriate, please contact us at planmyoffbeat@gmail.com, and we will immediately blacklist the image from our platform.
