About Athirappilly

Athirappilly is a lush, forested locality in Thrissur district of Kerala, internationally famous for the Athirappilly Waterfalls. Cascading down from a height of 80 feet, this is the largest waterfall in Kerala, often called the Niagara of India. Nestled within the green Sholayar forest ranges, it is surrounded by dense flora and is home to endangered hornbill species.
