About Silent Valley National Park

Silent Valley National Park is a pristine tropical evergreen rainforest reserve situated in the Nilgiri Hills of Kerala. Spanning over 89 square kilometers, it remains one of the last undisturbed tracts of rainforest in India, completely free of human habitation and famous for harboring the endangered Lion-tailed Macaque and rare flora and fauna.
