How to reach
From Gangtok, take the main road westward toward Yuksom, passing through Pelling. From Yuksom, hire a jeep or arrange local transport to Dzongri base or trek starting points. The final 8-10 km ascent to the monastery requires trekking through alpine meadows and requires a guide.
