How to reach
From Leh city, drive north via Khardung La pass (at 5,359 meters elevation) to reach Nubra Valley. The journey takes 3-4 hours from Leh to Diskit, the main town in Nubra Valley. The road is well-maintained but extremely high-altitude with sharp turns and thin air.
