From Leh, take National Highway 5 towards Kargil and then divert towards Nubra Valley road. Continue through Tanggol and Diskit towards Chang La. The final 50 km to Tso Kar is on rough mountain roads suitable only for high-clearance vehicles. Total journey time is 8-10 hours from Leh.
