How to reach
From Srinagar, drive to Bandipora via Baramulla, then head northeast toward Dawar and Gurez Valley. The road is winding mountain terrain with steep hairpin turns and can be challenging, especially during monsoon. The route is open only from June to October due to heavy winter snowfall.
